Well, everything is fine here. We have two investigators who are going to be baptized. They just need to get married, and they are making plans, together with the ward council, to pay everything. They are a couple of a Venezuelan brother (Kenny) and a Peruvian sister (Leiby). They found the Church, because a Venezuelan sister is living with them. She is a small challenge, because she has Asperger’s and has moved away from the Church for reasons of personal pride. Even so, he says he has his testimony. They have read the scriptures she has, have enrolled in institutes, and have already met several members and couples in the ward. They say that they want to be baptized, because they have felt the Spirit, and that it is their own decision. They are golden contacts.
Today we actually just got done moving into a new room. It´s just around the corner from our old room, but it´s much nicer and has better air movement to help us keep cool. We just have to finish cleaning out our old room and unpack, which is probably gonna take up the rest of the P-Day. The old owner also says she wants us to repaint the walls, but I´m not sure she should get her hopes up. The missionaries have been living there for four years, so who knows if it will really happen.
I’m still in Elio! But the district has changed. We have a new district leader and his companion, and there are also two sister missionaries in the district. Well, everything´s pretty normal here otherwise. I´ll definitely get some photos of the new district sent soon. Not much else has changed.
I love you so much!
