Week 22 of Barranco 2, Limatambo

Hoo hah, smashers! Elder Woodward here. We´ve had a pretty decent week in Barranco. For starters, Daniel finally got baptized and confirmed! José Luis, our ward mission leader, is a responsible and dedicated leader, and I´m convinced that Daniel´s being left in good hands. Hopefully I can see some of my converts make it to the temple to do the work for their ancestors before I finish my mission. I haven´t been able to take any other converts to the temple so far. Week 20 of Barranco 2, Limatambo

¡Habla, causa!

We´ve entered the third week of the transfer! Man, time flies. Last week was interesting. For starters, we found 11 new investigators, breaking our previous record of 9 (which we matched the week before). I guess Elder Perez just has a fire for finding. We honestly could have found more! Sadly, Jack´s dad, who works in the Peruvian National Police, got called to Chiclayo, so Jack moved back with his mom in San Juan de Lurigancho. As far as I know, the missionaries over there still haven´t made contact with him. The good thing is his stepmom is still in the ward, and we´ll be coordinating through her to help him get baptized in San Juan. Continue reading
